Armani Inspiration and Home collection

Hello my darlings,

Hope you enjoyed your week and the Armani inspiration boards on my blog.
Here are the last two amazing Armani gowns for this week.

And how about the B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L Armani home collection?
I can't believe it's been over 10 years since Armani Casa was launched.
The definition of elegance.

Enjoy your weekend, loves!

Besos,

Pick Me Up Colors

I was feeling somewhat sluggish this morning, like I needed just a tiny little push to get me through the day.
Then I thought...hm...a shot of caffeine? Should I just go out and breathe fresh air? Nah. I went straight to my pink laptop and to Amy Butler Design. Yeah, that did it.

Remember that Sting song "When I'm feeling blue, all I have to do, is take a look at you, then I'm not so blue"...that's exactly how I feel when I go to Amy's inspiration page. Honestly. I do that.

I love the photographs. I love her prints. My seratonin levels shoot up to the sky and my brain starts thinking clearly, energy runs through my body and I am READY for all my weekend plans. I think most of us understand the psychology of colors. Try to look at these pics and see if you feel like getting up and roaming around the countryside or starting a new project. I cannot be the only one that feels this way after looking at them:

I am ready for the weekend. Hope yours is as wonderful as you dream it to be.

Happy Friday, chicas!
oops, sorry! and a few "chicos" too.

How about some Retro Red?

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I am a total woman. I have the right to change my mind often and I often do. I have a defined style, but I am attracted to fun and beautiful things across the board. I can teeter-totter between romantic/historic and clean-lines contemporary.
Yet, my taste takes away and flies, and finds a comfy nest in the retro style. I love the 40's, 50's and 60's and everything that make them so unique (what happened during the 70's, I will never understand). So here's some hot red retro for you all today:
Stay tuned for more red tomorrow.
Have a lovely day!

Inspiration Designer of the week: Hampton Design

I am a total woman. I keep on changing my mind. Although at times I seem to have a defined test, I am quite eclectic (however somehow I rarely want to admit it). I do love clean lines and dark furniture, but once in a while I like to mix old and new. And sometimes I totally love coastal design (sort of a Barefoot Contessa, East Hampton type of thing). Hampton Design is my clean-line, fresh and airy design inspiration this week. Check out these kitchens:
I am thinking of using this tile for my kitchen, in a greenish shade to coordinate with my cabinets. I love the glassy-clean look of these tiles. They remind me of the ocean. What feeling do they inspire in you?

I also love the light blue accent in the vanity doors:

Now THIS is a mud room:

I wouldn't mind doing laundry here (you have to know that I'd rather clean a toilet than do laundry):
May you have a wonderfully inspired week, ya'll!
