I mentioned earlier today (well...now actually yesterday) that I am in Buenos Aires this week. In fact, this is my second week here.
Some of you asked me if I'm vacationing (thanks for the darling emails, aw...you guys...)
I'm not. My dear sister Susana is very sick and I'm here expecting a miracle.
If heaven exists and listens, the miracle may happen tomorrow and we will finally know the type of cancer she's got and we'll be able to treat her.
I love you, my dearest sister, Susana! With all my heart. I will not cease to pray and hope.
Others asked me if Buenos Aires is a nice city. With beautiful French-inspired architecture, hundreds of statues, thousands of trees, and amazing new buildings, Buenos Aires - one of the 10 largest cities in the world - has a soul and personality of its own. See for yourself:
Bad thing about Buenos Aires: the food is WAAAAY too good. I tend to overeat. Darn.
Good thing about Buenos Aires: you walk a LOT. You walk everywhere. A good way to lose the weight I gain eating their amazing beef and pastries.
Have a good one, lovely chicas! Send good thoughts my way!!! We need them :-)
Oh Silvia I don't know what to say...except blessings to you and to Susana...and miracles do happen xx

Silvia darling I have been away for almost three weeks as well and have been thinking about you this entire time. I was concern about your sister's health and prayed for her every night. I am glad to hear you made it to be with her, I am certain it means the world to her and it also is so much easier on you. Stay strong and don't give up hope, miracles do happen. I will say a special prayer for Susana tonight. Please post any news you get and keep in touch. I wish I was there with you, my thoughts and prayers are. Good luck.
