In my native country of Argentina, Easter was about super delicious hollow chocolate eggs decorated with icing, which hold small surprises (more delicious candy). As I moved to the US and began to mingle with the American culture, my Easter crafts have been limited to decorating hard boiled eggs which I throw away promptly the day after Easter Sunday (not a fan of egg salad).
I tend to think I am a quasi-creative woman. And then I look at other blogs and wake up from the dream, hitting the surface pretty hard. Ouch. Reality shows me that I am miles if not worlds away from these talented, super creative women. I'm all right with myself so I don't feel bad about it. I wonder though, will the creative gene one day become active if I keep on blogging about creative things? I can only wish.
Now...seriously...can anyone refrain from feeling inspired when looking at these? Anyone? Anyone?
Inspired yet?
Happy Thursday! The weekend is almost here. Enjoy the day, dear lovelies.

Silvia, it's Thursday evening here and I've finally stopped for the Easter break. I'm exhausted just thinking about the effort it must have taken to make those beautiful eggs and post them as well! While I may not be anywhere near that creative, I can certainly appreciate! I love those b&w ones in the 8th image...maybe if I start practising I can manage them for next year!! Enjoy Easter.
ReplyDeleteI am not only inspired,I am humbled !never, in a million years, I could even think of making anything so beautiful..I can certainly enjoy looking though! Thanks for the wonderful ideas!

ReplyDeleteOh how fun. The egg with the buttons and the ones with musical notes are my favorite!
ReplyDeleteSilvia, amazing collection! Wow, yes, I am from the "dye hard-boiled eggs and maybe do something like a little sticker for decoration" school, I'm just going to crawl into a hole now and hide until the Easter creativity is over! These are so lovely and inspiring! Oh, and thanks again for adding my button, that is wonderful! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteSon maravillosos.
Muchas gracias.
