Door Lover

I have an adoration for stone walls, trees, and doors.
Yes, doors (okay, and chocolate and shoes).

Parallel to "The eyes are the window to your soul"
I believe that the front door could be interpreted as a representation of what's behind it,
at least in most cases.

I must be a very boring person because the front door of my house is very,
well..ho-hum.
You'd probably fall into a deep sleep if you look at it long enough.
Yeah, THAT boring.

I hang pretty wreaths on it. Still boring.
One of these days, I'll change it to one of these....

(My personal favorite! It's blue with stone walls all around, sigh!)

What color is your front door?

Do you like it?
If you don't like it, what color would you paint it?

Stay inspired, loves.

  2. My goodness dearest, YOU REALLY welcomed us all with this FRONT DOOR HOSPITALITY....each image is breathtaking and the more vivid the BLUES, the more intense my love for this color grew as I scrolled down!

THANK YOU for coming to visit and yes, we all have had SOMEONE believe in us, and not give up on us. As a teacher, I have the chance to look for the gems in a child's life....and let them know. Though their parents love them and support them, having ANOTHER person sometimes is validating...and I am learning that NOW, as a child of GOD.

I am so happy to see you back for a while, and you take EACH DAY AS IT COMES MY DEAR....you are a sweet light of love to us!!! BISES, Anita

  10. Hello Silvia,
First may I say you are such a doll for coming over and saying hello and leaving me such a sweet comment :)I love when I get visitors as nice as you! You made my day.
I love great old front doors. Funny, I have that same pink door image...it is my wallpaper on my phone :) I have a great old front door with a little door opening like in the Wizard of Oz. Everyone who come to the door just loves it. I really do agree that
it really does add character to your home. Great images, I love them all...and your blog! It is just heavenly. How are you enjoying your coasters, BTW??

    xoxo
