Tell her

To the one that taught me to be a respectful and useful human being on this earth...

the one who sacrificed so I wouldn´t go without...

the one who taught me to cook, to laugh, to live, and to love...
la que me enseñó a cocinar, a reir, a vivir, y a amar...

the one who is no longer by my side...
la que ya no está a mi lado...

but is always with me in my heart...
pero siempre está en mi corazón...

to my dear mother...
a mi querida mamá...

Happy Mother´s Day.
Feliz día de la Madre.

I love you and I miss you so.
Te quiero mucho y te extraño tanto!

If your mother is still on this earth, visit her, call her...
tell her how much you love her, while you can.

    Un beso enorme

  3. YES, YES, YES!!!! What a magnificent post my sweet Silvia, and only a year ago my friend? The wound must still be so fresh in your heart...I lost MA MÈRE 23 years ago, and even though the pain fades over the years, it never leaves. Days like this hurt and I don't know how many times I have wept since I posted my post on Friday night. Bless you my dear and be the light she taught you to be..that is the highest tribute we can pay them, those who DID sacrifice all so we could have what perhaps they never had. Blessings to you and a big hug, Anita
