Brave decor move: Black walls

I love color but I haven't definitely mustered the courage to paint a wall black.

However, I think these look amazingly classic and beautiful, yes?

Would you paint a whole room in black?
Just one wall?
No black at all on walls?
Hmm..
Besos,

  2. SILVIA! How are you dearest? WOW, I have never seen a black room that looked this good. I think as long as you have WHITE trim and white furniture, it obviously looks stunning,as these pictures! I love the one on your left side bar, "Schumacher"....that looks great with the dark room and white arched doorway into another lighter room. Thank you for coming to visit last night! Yes, that is me at the harp in both the pictures on the side bar and in my post! I like to get silly and pose with puffy dresses!!!!

God to see you back; your blog is always so lovely and colorful...have a peaceful day dearest, Anita

  5. That bathroom is gorgeous! I did paint my kids' bathroom black. It remained that way for two years....I really did like it. We did a redo, and now it's "Brooke Trout"- a brown/gray that I love too.

  6. Super elegante.
Ante espacios pequeños, por qué no un sólo muro y con mobiliario blanco, y si hay luz natural, qué más da!
    Geniales imágenes!

  16. My favorite photographer has a black space where he meets his clients. I love it! It's really dramatic. This is how I would do my client space. You can see it here:

  20. wow, i never would have thought i'd like black walls. These look so beautiful.

I wonder if i could get the courage to do just one wall.

Do you think it would only work in a large room?

  21. I would prefer dark walls in a large room, but then again an entryway would look nice too i bet! :)))))))
